Todd Falcone aka Buzzy Boxer ‘What Not to Do in Network Marketing’

Don’t Do This in Your Network Marketing Business

Some Humor for Your Friday, I Laughed So Hard I Cried

If you have spent any time in network marketing and network marketing training then you probably have run across Todd Falcone. What I love about Todd is he not only an adept network marketer and trainer who teaches the tried and true skill sets of network marketing. He has primarily focused on offline marketing methods however he is becoming a master of how to use the online medium to convey his message and his teaching.

Humor is the Best Teacher

Todd has found his online niche through teaching through humor. He has created his alter ego in ‘Buzzy Boxer’ got to love the name. Buzzy has a good heart and is giving it his all and we all get to benefit from Buzzy’s mis-steps in his network marketing journey.

Todd gives us an inside view through short videos of the assorted antics that Buzzy goes through to get the sale and build his team. Humor is one of the best teachers and Todd does this in spades.

Though a bit over the top you’d be surprised how close Buzzy’s antics are to the truth with many network marketers. It just reminded me of some outrageous stories of my past experiences with even people on my team or those approaching me from other network marketing companies. I will save those stories for another post. This is a perfect example of where real life is stranger than fiction.

Inside View of Buzzy Making Some Prospecting Calls

Watch in while Buzzy makes some calls to his prospects. Be sure to have some tissues handy, don’t be surprised that you are laughing so hard you cry. May you avoid falling into these prospecting pitfalls. Remember the ability to laugh at ourselves is one of our greatest strengths.

Now Its Your Turn

It is so true that humor is a good way to teach. One always tends to remember something that is funny more times than something that is not. Learning while laughing is enjoyable and therefore more gets retained I suppose.

Great post. That was really funny. I love your site by the way. I know a lot of people who are into network marketing. But I just don’t have the courage to go into it just yet.

Faith thank you so much sharing Todd’s video, I had such a good and hearty laugh! It throws some gentle light on how a lack of self-connectedness will mostly lead us to behave in a way that is more superficial than genuine.

So true. Being able to laugh at ourselves and our lives also frees us and cultivates self acceptance. You know Buzzy has a good heart he is just misguided. Compassion is so big in life. Because I have been building network marketing businesses for over 27 years now I have seen and experienced a lot. I found his antics bringing back memories of some approaches people have tried with me. Awe life is such a fun ride.

Hey Faith, I thought I had commented here on this post. I absolutely cracked up watching the video, so funny. The sad thing is that this is not really a joke, Todd Falcone is right on point with how most people approach others about their new business endeavor. Sometimes humor and comedy are the best teachers. Thanks again for sharing. Sye-

Yes, I got such a good laugh and in large part I have been exposed to similar scenarios. I have some funny stories I’ll have to share with you sometime. Yes, it is sad, that people feel they must resort to such tactics but I do feel our industry as a whole is getting better and many more people are treating like the profession it is.

Thank you. I am grateful for my name. My grandmother named me after she passed and came back and prophetically she was told I would be born and needed to be named Faith. She was very mystical and great soul and I am grateful that she convinced my mother to name me Faith.

I love Buzzy for his humor and I try to incorporate some in my posts as well as some funny pix where I can. e.g.this one In one job I had as a telemarketer they used to train people to say the things Buzzy says :) Funny thing was it worked well as a humorous introduction if you didn’t try to sound too serious.

Thanks for the good laugh, Faith. Teaching through humor is one of the best way for people to remember what they learned. Todd was simply awesome on stage at the No Excuses Summit and his alter ego is just hilarious!
