Assemble Your Success Team

“It Takes Team Work to Make the Dream Work”

If you are either in network marketing or considering a network marketing career you may have run across the phrase it takes ‘team work to make the dream work.’ The people you surround yourself with is absolutely critical to your success. Another friend of mine Stephanie Tanner calls this your “Love Posse”. It is absolutely essential to your continued success to assemble your Success Team.

What is a Success Team?

What is an Success team you may ask? I consider my Success team a collection of people from, mentors, coaches , supporters, colleagues, and my own team members as I start to grow a team within my network marketing business.

Why is Your Success Team Essential to Your Success?

Why is it essential to your success to surround yourself with your own Success Team? The power of influence plays a big factor in our lives. I have heard it over and over that your income and our results in life reflect the 5 people you spend the most time with. We tend to achieve to the level of those around us. With this in mind I want to surround myself with progressive, positive and supportive individuals. Also, I want to surround myself with those who have experienced a greater level of success than myself.

I’m choosing to mentor with those that I am philosophical alignment but who will also stretch me and grow me as a person. If you want to play a better game of tennis play with people much better than yourself and your game will progress dramatically.

Who Do You Pick for Your Success Team?

How to go about assembling your team? I find I start with mentors within my niche. This may be individuals within my network marketing team that are individuals I admire and want to emulate. Also, forming relationships with generic trainers in the network marketing industry as a whole. Also, I reach out into other professions and industries to connect with those I greatly admire.

I also look to attract other peers who are on the same journey as myself. If this is within my network marketing business this may be what we call “cross line” which simply means those not with our organization or in within our upline sponsorship. It matters not where they come from as long as there is mutual support and alignment in our goals. You are simply identifying those individuals that you really connect with and are working towards similar goals.

Staying in touch with Your Success Team on a Weekly Basis is Essential

Your Success Team should consist of a group of individuals you have access to on a regular basis. I would say at the least a weekly basis. This regular communication is important as you progress on your journey. Individuals that will be there for you every step of the way. As I said, earlier your success team will be a collection of mentor or mentors, your coach, people you admire in other professions and your peers. These are the types of friends that embody the best definition of friendship. They truly want to see you succeed and rooting you on towards your goals is of great joy to them. Of course you also provide this same reciprocation with your peers as well .

Your goal as you develop your network marketing team is to attract like minded progressive individuals onto your team and as you identify these individuals they will also become apart of your ongoing success team as well. Plus you now get to give them this same foundation as they also assemble their own Success Teams.

Accelerate Your Business Growth and Success with Your Team

Watch the acceleration of your progress as you assemble and connect in on a weekly basis with your success team. I even challenge you to connect 5 days a week with several members of your success team to further accelerate your progress. Remember as others hold you able and support you in your continued growth you will be offering this same service of love to others. This is truly the spirit of playing it forward and creating winning teams.

Start Right Now with Assembling Your Success Team

Team work is everything in life and in business, start right now assembling a team that inspires you, grows you and allows you to play this forward with the team you are building.

Faith, thanks for the thoughts on a success team. I am curious– how would you compare the concept of a success team with a mastermind group? From your description they seem to me very much alike. I see other commenters have used the term as well. I usually think of “accountability” when I think of mastermind groups. Is that also part of your experience with a “success team”? Just trying to get an idea if these are different concepts, similar concepts, or the same idea with a different name. Thanks – Richard

Richard, they could be one and the same. However your success team can also be a collection of people who support you and root you on though not apart of an organized Mastermind group. So it can be both but not necessarily. I have people on my success team who I am not involved at least at this moment in a mastermind group. Hope this helps.

Some of my greatest movements forward in my career have come when I was actively working and communicating with my Love Posse, and these days, as I am writing a new chapter, I know my success now is having everything to do with the choice people coming into my life… the more they bless me, the more I want to be my best and pass it on.

Wow, Faith, so timely and important. I am a firm believer in a Success or Mastermind team. Support from your team helps you to be accountable, keeps you going on those days or moments when you don’t want to! Good Stuff!

    Faith,
This is so important – I call these groups Mastermind Partners, I have one and we have been meeting for over a year now. Just added a new member. I can testify that it brings clarity, super growth and a group will support and challenge you. So,whether you are working on a project together or separately I would highly recommend getting one started.

    Great post Faith!
