Having just attended Marketing Funnel Mastery inspired me to write about the power of live events. I saw this picture up on Facebook and you quickly discover the power of live events. A picture is worth a thousand words.
You can feel the energy from this picture and the fun we were having. Most important are the individuals I was connecting with online, I was now able to develop deeper connections by attending and connecting at a live event. Meeting accomplished online marketers like Diyana Alcheva and Barbara Silva and many others was one of the many highlights of this live event. Whether it is to support each other, eventually enter into joint ventures and in some cases do business together. It is all possible when we connect the dots and take our online connecting offline.
Whether you are connecting offline or online the power is in the connection. Network Marketing is all about building relationships. Don't hold yourself up in your room with your computer in your lap. If you limit your online marketing to living on your computer you will be missing out on so much. In fact I bet you dollars to donuts your business will suffer as a result.
In addition to attending live events be sure to pick up the phone on a regular basis and reach out to those you are connecting with through social media and your blogging and ultimately the list you are creating through your online marketing. Go to every live event that you can. It will rock your world. The magic of connection is undeniable. It is like a grand treasure hunt. You never know what great new relationships you will forge in your online marketing journey when you take those relationships offline.
Marketing Funnel Mastery is a phenomenal course that empowers entrepreneurs to be the masters of their online businesses and the live event that Mike Klinger hosted was priceless. You’re absolutely right about the power of a picture. If I looked at a picture taken at an event and I saw something that was lacking energy, or didn’t have many people, I wouldn’t be interested in attending another one. If you’re going to hold an event you want to create a good energy around it and spread that around as much as possible.

Live events get us out of ourselves and into our communication style. It’s a great way to sharpen our personal networking skills.
Plus it’s a lot of fun and inspiration! Thanks, Faith.

Faith,

How true that we should never forget the personal touch and get out there to meet people in person. So invigorating and fun to connect with people of the same mind set,

Thank you Faith for this post. Yes you are right about going to live events and just simply meeting people face to face. Whether it be in a Chamber meeting, BNI meeting, phone meeting. It breaks the isolation and yesterday that very thing happened as I went to check out a meetup group in my local area and I made the greatest connections. I found a BNI group that does not have a health and wellness seat represented and I met some pretty incredible networkers who wanted to know what I was up to. I wanted to know what they were up to as well and I took a look at one of the persons businesses’ later in the afternoon. It was great! You are right…there is a buzz going around and people are just eager to build relationships and nurture them. People are also supporting people with their ideas and we are all helping one another along the way. Everyone has beautiful ideas and different strategies and ideas that they are bringing to the table. It is all good. I learn something from everyone I seem to interact with. I am genuinely happy for them too. I root and cheer them on and want them to succeed and I feel the very same coming back at me. It is not like a dog eat dog, back biting world like it seems it used to be. Internet marketing, social networking has taken on a new face and people are more eager to help and support, give of their time and really help today more than ever. There a a positive movement for change and I see a lot of people contributing to that. It is wonderful to be a part of it.
