Creating Tribe Syndication within Your Network Marketing Team

I have always loved creating community. It is no wonder I fell in love with network marketing which is all about creating relationships, teams and ultimately creating community. Having joined The Unified Tribe to network, mastermind and grow the syndication of my articles, videos while helping others to do the same got me thinking.
Most of my team is building their businesses with offline methods. I have a handful of associates who are desiring to learn the internet marketing and social media marketing. I know these numbers will increase but for now I was looking for some simple ways to introduce my associates to internet marketing without overwhelming them, given this is all new to them.
I thought why not create a tribe within my team who want to master social media starting with Facebook. I identified my team members who are excited to move forward into this arena. I taught them all how to set up their own personally branded Fan Pages. I gave them some simple strategies for building up new friends for their FB profile and how to suggest to friends to join their fan pages.
The strategy is this. Get a core group of 7 or so team members together and assign a day of the week that the other six will promote their content on their Fan Page and if they have videos promote those as well. All the remaining members of our syndication tribe also put positive comments on their Fan Page to encourage etc. Each day there is a new person in the group that the rest of us are promoting etc.
In the short time we have been conducting this plan of action I have seen the individuals involved grow in confidence, and their comfort level for networking through FB has skyrocketed. I have heard associates be amazed that they have people showing interest in what they do, wanting to be their friends etc.
Once they master connecting and marketing on FB, we add in Twitter and then Youtube. I already have several people ready to start a blog which of course we know is the hub of our social media marketing.
I believe working together in tribes/teams will accelerate everyone’s growth and for those of us working with The Unified Tribe, we know this to be the case. It has been so satisfying to apply these principles within my team and to see my team members confidence and growth soar.
Here’s to the power of the tribe and tribe syndication!
Check out the video where I expand on this plan of action.
I invite your comments and insights below. Also, please share what is working for you in social media and online marketing, especially as it applies to team building.

Hi Donna,
Thank you. I have always learned the best by teaching it right away and I want my team members who are open to have the benefit from what I’m learning. I believe it is always best to share the wealth. I love being in the tribe with you too! Thanks for all the support.

You said it Faith. It just hit me the other day, the power of a tribe, the power of a mastermind alliance, the power of a blogging alliance…
Two to three years ago, people were talking about Web 2.0, then social networking…
I see every network marketing company “TRIBIN” in the next year or so…You did a great job of explaining why this is true…

Val, you are the best. You exemplify what it means to reach out and raise others up. You do every time you leave a blog comment, welcome myself and others to the tribe. You are living the tribe ethics and your heart is leading the way. Thank you!
