Your Daily Mode of Operation on Facebook

Having a plan is essential to your success with your marketing or any endeavor in life. In another post I’ll cover the importance of having a 90 day plan in your business marketing. For now I want to cover your daily mode of operation in your Facebook networking. If you really want to create traction in your marketing you must have a consistent activity you do on a daily basis.

I challenge you to make 20 new friend requests 7 days per week in your Facebook marketing for 90 days. The momentum you create will transform your networking in this social medium. Of course you can apply this same regimen to any other social network you belong to and participate in.

It is important to keep it personal, create a bond and follow up where there is a connection. In a future post I will show you how to continue the relationship building and bridge your new friends to your fan page once you have established a relationship. Also, I will be covering the key components of setting up your fan page in a future post. I invite you to leave your comments and any ideas or tips you have discovered in your social media marketing.

Consistency is the key with any social media. Many people try it out for a month and if they don’t see their sales double, they quit.

One little thing that you need to watch is that if you make too many friend requests, Facebook can suspend or even disable your account…

I have done extensive research and it is difficult to come up with an exact number of friend requests that Facebook allows per day. The most frequently given numbers are up to 50 per day. I prefer to be conservative and also going for quality contacts by limiting the number to 20 per day.

I have mixed feelings about the restrictions however better to stay within their rules and play to be in the game long term.
